Barb Offtake connector
The barb offtake connector takes water from a mainline or layflat hose into a smaller drip or micro-irrigation branch, with a sealed barb that mounts on the mainline and a barbed outlet for the branch tube.
It is the standard way to feed dozens of laterals from a single mainline without manifolds, and it is widely used in field-scale drip systems for vegetables, sugarcane and orchards. Combined with a punch tool, the offtake makes it easy to add or relocate branch lines between seasons.
