The drip line holddown support is a ground stake pipe holder that pins drip laterals to the soil, keeping the line aligned with the bed or row after installation.
Once pushed into the ground, the stake stops laterals from drifting under wind, foot traffic or cultivation, and helps preserve the emitter spacing planned for the crop. It is a useful low-cost addition to drip-tape and dripline layouts in vegetables, field crops and nurseries, especially during the establishment phase when soil cover is limited.
