Proper spacing ensures uniform water distribution across your orchard. The key factors are tree spacing, soil type, and sprinkler throw radius.
Calculating Spacing
For most orchards, place one micro sprinkler per tree, positioned 30-50cm from the trunk on the north or east side.
Overlap Guidelines
For full coverage, sprinkler spacing should not exceed 1.7 × throw radius. This ensures adequate overlap between adjacent sprinklers.
